 Just For
Puppies...
Our Puppy Grooming Orientation Program is truly one of a kind. We have specially designed this program, along with a combination of veterinarians,
trainers and behaviorists, to meet the socialization needs of puppies under 16 weeks of age. Our puppy grooming
orientation program will properly socialize your puppy to the entire grooming experience in a safe, positive and enjoyable
manner. We take great pride in this program and it is our goal to provide a positive foundation for a lifetime
of stress and worry free grooming.
Why is this only for puppies up to 16 weeks
old?
We have learned through scientific research that puppies go through a critical socialization period from approximately
8 – 16 weeks of age. During this developmental stage your puppy is learning to process new experiences
and can make either positive or negative associations based on these experiences. During this critical
stage of your puppy’s development it is very important that your puppy is exposed to grooming and handling in a
safe and positive manner. This will help prevent your puppy from growing up to be fearful or stressed during the grooming
process. Puppies between 4 - 6 months can still benefit from our puppy orientation program,
even though they are past their critical socialization period – it is never too late to expose your puppy to grooming
in a positive way. What
can you expect? The puppy
grooming orientation program consists of four grooming sessions, one per week for four consecutive weeks. Each
session will build on the session before, exposing your puppy to something new each week. Session four
will be a complete, breed specific grooming session with a cut or trim to your liking. During each weekly
session treats, love and cuddles will be freely given (please let us know if your puppy is sensitive to any foods or if you
prefer feel free to bring your own treats along.)

An extra potty break, a little rest during their spa services, or maybe just a little extra time enjoying the
warmth of our hydro-therapy bathing system. If your senior companion has some special needs, please let us know and we will make sure he or she gets the extra tender
loving care they deserve.
